Producer Emile Haynie says Adele is 'taking her time' on new album

Adele is said to be ‘taking her time’ with her new album according to Emile Haynie. The producer met with the singer to discuss new material for the album but has revealed that she is in no rush to release her new album in over four years.

Haynie told the Daily Star: “Adele was awesome, but I don’t know if we’ll be working together. We got along well as friends when we met in February and I hope we can cut some songs, but Adele is taking her time. I’d push for it to happen, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Last month, Kelly Clarkson hinted the singer was working on a country-influenced album while Lady Gaga prompted speculations that she was working along with Adele after uploading a picture of herself with Adele in January.

Fans are eagerly waiting for the follow-up to 21 which was recently announced as the ‘best selling album this millennium with sales of 4.74 million since its release in 2011.

It was rumoured that Damon Albam was working with Adele on the album. Albam is said to have met the singer at his west London studio. Details of the collaboration is yet to be confirmed.

The Sun reported at the end of last year, a source close to Adele stated: “Damon and Adele had a chat about her new album and they could work together in future.”

They added: “Adele’s exploring loads of different avenues for the music and isn’t rushing anything, but the album will be released next year.”

As for the lady herself, there is no word yet from Adele on her forthcoming album.

Eminem To Release New Album This Year


According to, Eminem has plans to release a new album this year, towards the end of May, and maybe a European tour to follow in August.

The rapper is apparently ‘far into the process’ of recording his new album.

Shady Records spokesman Paul Rosenberg for the 40 – year – old musician told Billboard: “We fully expect to be releasing a new Eminem album in 2013. He’s been working on it for some time.”

He added: “We’ve got some dates locked in for him to perform live in Europe in August, so we’re trying to see what else lines up.”

The untitled album will be Eminem’s – real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III – eighth album and his first three years to follow his 2010 release Recovery – which sold 741,000 copies within its first week of release in the United States.

Last August the rapper told DJ Whoo Kid on radio station Shade 45 that material for his new album was ‘taking shape’. He also revealed that mentor Dr. Dre would also be a part of the development of the new LP.

Grammy Award winner No I.D – the Executive Vice President of Def Jam records – is expected to produce the album.

Kid Cudi Reveals New Album Doesn’t Contain Profanity Or Use Of N-Word

It may come as a surprise Kid Cudi that his new album WZRD won’t contain any use of profanity or the N-word.  Before making it clear that there would be no use of expletives, in a series of tweets on his Twitter page he revealed to his fans the date of the album it would be released and why he had to push back the release date: “And here’s the biggest news, the official release date will be January 30, my birthday.”

“Had to push it back to get the proper time to mix and master, want it to sonically be where it needs to be.”

He then tweeted a snippet of the first single would be dropped soon, as he told the ladies they would have something to dance to and whilst saying that he added the new album wouldn’t contain any vulgarity, letting itself appeal to everyone: “Were gonna release a snippet of the first single soon. You will be pleased. Ladies, your gonna have something to shake those booties to.

“Also, the WZRD album does not contain any profanity or the usage of the word ‘n**ga.’ A universal album for everyone.”

When he received comments why he wouldn’t be using any profanity Cudi explained: “Some of yall listen to so much ignorant s**t that thats all you know or are accustomed to. My fans are smart, I know yall better than this.”

Their last album Out Of Control hit the number one spot on the UK Albums Chart becoming a best-selling album. But whether they are about to put out their sixth studio album out could be a hint from bandmate Nicola Roberts had to say.

As it has been reported that they will be reuniting for their tenth anniversary Nicola spoke how their next album will be different from their last album: “”We’ll make this album differently if we make a record. I’m a different person. I’ve grown up a hell of a lot since we made our last record. So it’s going to be different.”

Being in the music business can be a struggle as the 25-year-old said: “No matter how much control you have or how much confidence, it’s always in someone else’s hands, all the time.”

She added: “That’s the scariest thing about this industry. It’s so political. And sometimes the hands it is in are a**eholes hands. No matter how much you believe in something, how many years you’ve taken, it’s in someone else’s hands.”
