MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 - Show

Jay- Z is gearing up to release his forthcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail on July 4, exclusively through a new Samsung App. The rapper spoke about his personal experiences that have influenced the material on his new album.

Posting a teaser advert, the rapper talked about a single entitled Jay-Z Blue saying that it was undeniably inspired by daughter Blue Ivy Carter.Wife and singer Beyoncé gave birth to the couple’s first child on January 7 2012.

Talking to Rick Rubin in the album clip Jay-Z admits: “[She’s] something that we both created; we still marvel at her.”

In another clip he talks more about his daughter’s influence on another track entitled Heaven, which he says can be located in his daughter’s laughter. The rapper also described the feeling of his child going missing for just three minutes.

The 43-year-old revealed how difficult his childhood was which has left him with lasting doubt over his father credentials.

He explained: “My pop left when I was young, so he didn’t teach me how to be a man, nor how to raise child, or treat women. So, of course, my karma, the two things I need, I don’t have. And I have a daughter. It’s the paranoia of not being a great dad.”

Besides his influence from daughter Blue Ivy, Jay -Z’s album features several collaborations including
Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean and of course Beyoncé herself.

After his infamous fight with Frank Ocean, Chris Brown has been seen with his hand in a cast.

Reports of the fight between the two artists have been conflicting since the fight occurred. Some sources have claimed that he did not throw the first punch whilst others have said that the fight kicked off only because he made the first step.

Brown has said he is not in the wrong and hadn’t been much part of the brawl but thanks to TMZ.com, they have evidence of photographs of the Turn Up The Music hit maker was pretty much involved.

The website has pictures of Brown leaving his house with a hard cast over his right hand, which covers his knuckles.

They may have gotten involved in an alleged fight but new reports have suggested that Chris Brow doesn’t have a problem with Frank Ocean.

The two artists reportedly fought over a parking space outside a recording studio in West Hollywood on Sunday. It is believed that the fight escalated between them when Frank refused to shake Chris’ hand.

Claiming that Chris has ‘no beef’ with Frank and will be polite towards him if they meet at award shows in the future, a source told HollywoodLife:

“Chris doesn’t have any beef with nobody. If he sees dude out or at an award show he’ll keep it cool and keep it pushing. He has no enemies and isn’t worried about a thing and that includes jail.

“[The] great thing about living in America, is when your innocent and ain’t got s**t to worry about, you sleep well at night.”

Whilst insiders have claimed that Chris doesn’t have an issue with Frank, it is said that the Turn Up The Music singer still wants to talk to the police about the incident.

A source allegedly told the gossip site: “Anyway, he’s planning on talking with the cops today [Jan.29] and his lawyers already talked to them on the phone.”

The source added: “He feels bad about what went down and he will do whatever he needs to do to make s**t right. He’s not worried about s**t because he know he’s innocent.”

Frank Ocean Quits Music Career To Become An Author?

<> at Terminal 5 on July 26, 2012 in New York City.

He’s rise to stardom with his chart topping hits including Thinkin’ Bout You, Pyramids and Sweet Life but Frank Ocean could be done with music just after a few months releasing his debut album.

The 25 – year – old may not make another album to follow his critically acclaimed album Channel Orange.

Instead the singer and songwriter want to focus on another passion; become an author. As much as he loves telling stories, his next project could be writing a novel rather than music.

Talking to The Guardian, Frank said: “Some people focus more on sonics. Some people focus more on story.”

He added: ”I focus on both sonics and story, but music sometimes, just music itself, can turn into more of a math’s problem. Storytelling is the more interesting part about making music for me, or making albums and songs and stuff.”

He continued: ”So much so that I might not make another album. I must write a novel instead. I don’t know!”

When he was asked further about his debut album being his last, he said: “It could be. It could be it if I flew next week and my plane crashed.”

He added: ”It could be it if somebody walked along and shot me for my bracelet or something. It could always be it.”
