Adele is said to be ‘taking her time’ with her new album according to Emile Haynie. The producer met with the singer to discuss new material for the album but has revealed that she is in no rush to release her new album in over four years.

Haynie told the Daily Star: “Adele was awesome, but I don’t know if we’ll be working together. We got along well as friends when we met in February and I hope we can cut some songs, but Adele is taking her time. I’d push for it to happen, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Adele Quits Twitter After Newborn Son Receives Death Threats From Internet Trolls

Adele has reportedly quit the networking site Twitter after she had received death threats about her newborn son from trolls.

The Skyfall singer gave birth to her first child on October 19 with her partner Simon Konecki.

After announcing the birth, Adele received congratulatory messages but was flooded with threats and nasty comments from other tweeters.

One said: “It’s nice that Adele has finally given birth this week. It can’t have been easy being pregnant for the past five years.”

And another added: “Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol.”

And as a result of the online abuse, the singer quit the networking site as a ‘friend’ told Daily Star: “She couldn’t believe people would be so awful about a baby.”

But the threats aren’t phasing the star as she is enjoying motherhood.

A source told The Sunday People: “Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival.”

They added: “She was over the moon that they were expecting their first child together.”

Adele Turns Down Amy Winehouse Tribute

Singer George Michael has revealed Adele was emotionally unable to sing a tribute to her late friend Amy Winehouse who passed away tragically last year. The singer was asked to sing a tribute in a fundraising concert, but because she is still coming to terms with her friend’s death, she rejected the offer.

The former Wham! Member explained that he was happy to honour the Back To Black Singer during a fundraise concert last November and decided that he would approach Adele for a duet.

Michael explained whilst he spoke to London’s Heart 106.2: ”We communicated by email and initially what I wanted was for us to sing ‘Love Is A Losing Game’ by Amy Winehouse at the Elizabeth Taylor tribute I did at Covent Garden.

”She was basically telling me she couldn’t. She tried to put one of (Winehouse’s) songs in her own set and she couldn’t even get through it. I think they knew each other from the Brit School (The BRIT School for Performing Arts.)

”They’re obviously musical goddesses but I think the tragedy would have been too much her.”

Adele To Quit Music?

Adele made a live comeback following a throat hemorrhage surgery at the Grammy awards on Sunday. After winning 6 Grammy Awards in just one night over the weekend, Adele may be quitting music for the next five years as she has revealed in an interview with US Vogue magazine.

The reason being to quit music is to focus on her relationship, sending time with her new beau Simon Konecki as she believes prioritising her career more has led to break – ups in the past with previous boyfriends.

The singer explained saying: “I am f***ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail.

“So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don’t know what I’ll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch.”

She also said she is a good girlfriend who likes to cook and have a laugh but loves drama in a relationship: “I love a bit of drama. That’s a bad thing. I can flip really quickly.”

She continued: “I am not bipolar, but I go from, ‘Oh, my God, I love you’ to, ‘Get the f**k out of my house!’ really quickly. And I never sit there and talk about it. I give them the silent treatment.

“They’re like, ‘Tell me what I’ve done so I can say sorry!’ What else? It used to be that I loved a drink a bit too much. But I don’t drink no more. The good things: I am attentive. I will do anything for my man. I am a good cook. I’m funny.”

The singer gave credit to her boyfriend Simon helping her to recover after her surgery. Adele said: “He’s wonderful. And he’s proud of me, but he don’t care about what I do or what other people think. He looks after me. I don’t think I would have gotten through the recovery for my surgery if it hadn’t been for him.”

After having her throat hemorrhage surgery in November, Adele was advised to take time off her singing career which she says it helped to regain a perspective on her career: “It was so fast-paced I could hardly ever remember the bulk of my day. I think I just needed to be silenced. And when you are silent, everyone around you is silent. So the noise in my life just stopped. It was like floating in the sea for the weeks. It was brilliant.”

She added: “I had so much time to kind of go over things and get over things, which is amazing. I think if I hadn’t had my voice trouble, I would never have broached those subjects with myself. Now I just feel really at peace.”

The full interview with Adele will appear in the March issue of US Vogue magazine.
