Priyanka tweeted this picture to her fans of her outfit for the Grammy Awards

 

Priyanka Chopra attended the Grammy Awards which took place over the weekend. It’s the first time the actress will be attending the music awards ceremony but she didn’t walk the red carpet not being able to make it on time but sat in the audience.

The actress tweeted about being present at the Grammys and the loss of Whitney Houston who passed away on the eve of the Grammy Awards ceremony: “LA bound..the Grammys will be sad.. Such a tremendous loss to the world ..”there can be miracles..when u believe.. somehow u will”thank u.”

Whilst getting ready for the Grammys, Priyanka faced a dilemma of what outfit to wear as she tweeted to her fans for some fashion advice: “Ok guys!! Grammy time!Just landed into LA.. options of gowns.. Indian designer or western..?Hmmm..I’m biased towards wearing Indian talent..”

She later tweeted a picture of her outfit which she captioned it saying: “A special behind the scenes pic only 4 U. On my way to the Grammys.In a Gauri Nainika original! What say guys”

Just over the weekend, the Grammy Awards took place and Cash Money star Jay Sean was there to walk the red carpet! Looking sleek in his D&G suit and gold tie, he also debuted his new hairstyle – which was spiked up. His new hairdo will take his loyal fans back to when he started on the music scene and very much had the same hairstyle but bigger and sharper.

Before walking the red carpet, the singer was caught checking himself out in the window of a car and later tweeted if the incident on his Twitter page: “I wasnt ‘checking myself out’ I was just checking I hadn’t left anything in the car. I swear. Ahahhahahahahahah lmao.”

54th Annual Grammy Award Winners 2012

The 54th Grammy Awards took place on February 12, 2012. With 109 awards being given out at the Annual award show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, it was Adele who took home 6 Grammys including:

Kanye West was the only artist to be voted the most for 7 nominations but only won 4 awards which included:

The Grammy Awards was also a night to remember as it was announced Whitney Houston has passed away. Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to the singer with her rendition of the classic single I Will Always Love You.  Nearly every singer who took to the stage to perform or pick their award up gave their credit and tribute to the best – selling solo vocalist in history.

Etta James who also passed away last month was paid tribute by Alicia Keys and country star Bonnie Raitt.

Performers Confirmed For 54th Grammy Awards Ceremony

The Grammy Awards are coming up and as the nominations for each of the categories are spicing up, it’s more about who is going to be hitting the stage to perform at this year’s awards ceremony.

14 – time Grammy winner Alicia Keys has been added to the list of performers for the ceremony as she will pay tribute to the late Etta James who passed away last month with nine – time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt.

Since undergoing vocal cord surgery Adele will be present to sing; Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson; Glen Campbell with the Band Perry and Blake Shelton; Foo Fighters; Bruno Mars; Paul McCartney; Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Ban; Nicki Minaj; and Taylor Swift.

Rihanna will also take to the stage with Coldplay for their collaboration Princess In China whilst Nicki Minaj will perform her new single too.

After much speculation, Chris Brown will take to the stage as well as Lil Wayne.
