After a storm of reports stating Ranbir Kapoor getting married to his beau Katrina Kaif, the actor has denied all claims wedding bells won’t be heard anytime soon.
Thrashing the rumours, the 32-year-old said they have made no plans to marry as they are both busy with their careers.
During a promotion for Bombay Velvet, Ranbir told reporters: “Yes, I am in love but I have not made any marriage plans yet. There are so many rumours surrounding my marriage like sometime people have quoted me that I am getting married next year. But there are no plans as such.”
Kaif has also denied the claims that they will be settling down. Kaif’s spokesperson issued a statement clarifying the rumours, saying: “There is no truth to these wedding dates, there are no plans as yet.”
In a press conference promoting his forthcoming movie Bombay Velvet, Kapoor had reportedly said: “This year both of us are extremely busy, so there won’t be any time for the marriage. We have planned to tie the knot by the end of next year. Both of us have agreed on that.
“Both of us are sure about our relationship and if we don’t open about it now, it would be showing disrespect to the relationship. I am 33 now and it is time I have my family. Even Katrina wants that. I have grown up in a family where film is everything. So, I know the importance of gossip and my funda is simple. When there is gossip, try not to react and it is advisable not to think too much about yourself.”
