Louis Walsh may be leaving the X Factor after 11 years on the judging panel.
Simon Cowell implied the hint that the Irishman may not be appearing on the ITV talent show in the forthcoming series.
The music mogul tweeted: “Louis Walsh is one of the good guys. We will always be friends. The door remains open and who knows what’s next …”
The news comes after much speculations over the change on the show, which has already seen host Dermot O’Leary replaced by Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
Louis Walsh is reportedly being replaced as a judge on The X Factor after 11 years.
It has been tipped that BBC Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw could be given a role on the show.
One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson has also been hinted to replace the former Westlife manager.
An X Factor spokesman told Sky News that no conclusion on the judging line up has been reached yet: “No formal decisions have been made regarding the full judging line up for this year’s X Factor.”
A source has also been quoted as to saying: “Louis has not been told by Simon he’s not back on the show.”
