Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman has been named as the third bond girl to join the forthcoming 007 Bond movie, Spectre.
The model-turned-actress is one of few actors of Latin descent to play a Bond girl in more than 25 years in the hit franchise.
Mexican actress Linda Christian, played the first Bond girl as Valerie Mathis in a 1954 TV adaption of Casino Royale.
The 28 – year – old is the latest addition to be announced joining the cast with Italian actor Monica Bellucci and French actor Lea Seydoux being previously announced.
The news was announced on the official James Bond Twitter account, where the tweet read, “We are pleased to announced that @SigmanStephanie has joined the cast of Spectre as Estrella.”
Other new cast members to Spectre include Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott and Dave Bautista.
Daniel Craig will reprise his role for the fourth time as the MI6 agent , alongside with director Sam Mendes and returning co-stars Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear.
