R. Kelly Says He & Jay-Z No Longer Feud

In an interview with MTV News, R Kelly cleared any speculations to whether he and Jay – Z were still feuding. The R&B singer admitted they have stopped their beef that started in 2004. Kelly dealt with the subject saying that they have now reconciled.

The two musicians worked together in 2002 on a collaborative album Best Of Both Worlds and followed it up with a sequel, Unfinished Business.

In 2004 they agreed that they would do a collaborate tour. It was at one of the concerts at New York’s Madison Square Garden that Kelly had failed to turn up at that caused their friendship to turn sour.

Now that eight years have passed, Kelly and the hip – hop mogul have settled their differences.

When he was asked if he was feeling Jay’s latest collaborative album with Kanye West Watch The Throne, he said: “Absolutely; huge fan.”

Kelly continued, saying that he and Jigga had set up the standard high for collaborative albums: “We walked on the moon first, right?”

He added that he would even consider to work with Jay again: “I love a good marriage — I love love. Anything that works for me, anything that feels good to my soul, that feels like this is what I should do, I’m gonna do it.”

“I don’t care what it is, who it’s with. As long as it’s positive and it works for both parties, I’m with it.”
